In 2009 ChannelCorp’s internationally-renowned, and updated Channel Management: the business dynamic program and Advanced Channels Workshop will be supported by the addition of two new programs. Ecosystems and Alliances, a one-day program and the two-day program Channel Economics and Partner Finance now complete the leading channel economics, partner finance, channel management and channel program education curriculum in the IT industry. The programs will be conducted on four continents worldwide.

Channel Management: the business dynamic
This workshop is for high performance managers of indirect channels for IT products/services/solutions. In order to convince the business people who run the best partner operations to sustain or increase investments in your programs, your people must understand business. The program has been designed to provide the “hard” business and financial content that today’s quota-carrying partner/account/ solution provider managers need.

The primary focus is to transform quota-carrying channel personnel into skilled financial and business people capable of having business conversations with experienced business people. Advanced Channels

New—Channel Economics and Partner Finance
This new two day program is designed to extend the skills of those who have completed Channel Management: the business dynamic, or those quota- and non-quota-carrying channel professionals who need comprehensive channel economics and partner finance training. The Channel Economics and Partner Finance program is a “deep dive” into the economic and financial issues of business partners. The program focuses on partner financial survival, sustaining historic partner business and the growth and re-growth of partner businesses. The program evaluates the economic and investment frameworks used by a wide variety of partner species providing attendees with as much of more financial knowledge as the partners they are attempting to influence. This program is an excellent base for those channel program executives who wish to “monetize” their channel programs.

New—Ecosystems and Alliances
This new one-day program has emerged from our ecosystem and alliance design and development consulting. This program is designed for quota-carrying, partner-facing personnel as well as channel/ecosystem development strategists. The program includes a copy of ChannelCorp new book – Ecosystem and Alliance Handbook. The Ecosystem and alliances program will provide you with full details on how to build and manage your ecosystems and peer-to-peer networks.
